Events information
The Gardens provide a tranquil, lush setting for many kinds of outdoor events. In the past the Friends and other groups have hosted sculpture exhibitions and competitions, garden rambles throughout the district, guided tours and teddy bears’ picnics, and look forward to many more events. The Gardens are not only a great venue for simple pleasures like picnics, play, exercise, meditation or just a walk, they are also perfect in fact, for birthdays, weddings, end of year functions and concerts - almost any celebration or gathering.

Summer Picnics
Family picnic day are fun in the gardens and the new Community park adjacent to the Botanic Gardens. The new playground, with fabulous interactive water feature has been designed by Melbourne's Children's garden designer, Andrew Laidlaw, Landscape Architect at Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.
Plant sales
In conjunction with the two Kyneton Horticultural Society Flower shows, an excellent selection of plants will be available for sale grown by members. The plant stall will have quality plants at an affordable price as well as bulbs, books, jellies, pickles, pots and more for sale. Funds raised will support projects to improve the gardens.
